Weight Management and Nutrition

Weight Management
Besides offering courses about weight management, the Center for Health Promotion PrimaVita offers other possibilities for weight reduction or weight stabilization. We would like to introduce them here.

Optifast 52 - Program
The Optifast program is a 52 week, ambulatory and interdisciplinary long-term therapy for people who are at least 30 percent above their normal weight (Body-Mass-Index is more than 30 kg /m²). The goal is noticeable weight reduction and stabilization by developing new, balanced and sustainable behavioral patterns.

Optifast II Short Course
The Optifast II Short Course is a 15 week ambulatory and interdisciplinary therapy for overweight people who are up to 30 percent above their normal weight (Body-Mass-Index up to 30 kg/m²).

Both programs are supported by our professional specialists team (physicians, nurses, nutritional, exercise and behavior therapists) for safe and sustainable weight loss. Your efforts will be enhanced during the diet phase by a balanced, formula diet.

During the treatment, a group meeting will meet for approx. three hours every week.

Individual Nutritional Counselling
Whoever eats a diverse and varied diet is contributing to his physical well-being and enhances his performance. On the other hand, a one-sided or excessive diet favors the development of many diseases. Do you enjoy eating, but still want to watch your weight? We will work with you to develop a healthy daily nutritional strategy that corresponds to your individual wishes and problems.

Price:
  • 50.00 € for the first 45 minute appointment including intial case history
  • 40.00 € for follow-up 30 minute appointment
  • 20.00 € - 40.00 € depending on analysis complexity.
