We have no fixed visiting hours in our hospital
Even during visiting hours, it may be necessary for the patient’s/or his roommate’s best interest to conduct medical or nursing treatment. Sometimes, a patient simply needs rest for his recovery. We ask for your understanding in case you are asked by the physicians or nursing staff to temporarily leave the room or to end your visit.
Exceptions regarding visiting hours, particularly in special cases, are possible according to agreement. Also, as often as possible, you should plan your visits for no later than 8:00 p.m. The Intensive Care Unit has special regulations since the treatment of our patients there follows a different schedule.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria is open to all visitors, guests and employees.
Breakfast in the cafeteria is available to all mobile patients from the wards. Bread, croissants and other pastries are baked freshly on the premises.
At lunch, one has a choice of three menus, plus the specials. In addition, there is a salad buffet. In the afternoon, we offer an assortment of tortes and cakes. Cold and warm dishes, snacks, hot and cold drinks, candies and a small assortment of newspapers are available throughout the day.
Cell Telephones
According to the Federal Health Ministry and the respective agencies for technical security, electronically guided medical equipment can be disturbed by the high frequency waves of cell phones resulting in harm to the patient.
This is especially important in the area near the Intensive Care Unit, as well as for laboratory and treatment rooms. In those locations where patients are being treated with pacemakers, infusion pumps, ventilators and patient monitoring systems, the high frequency waves of a cell phone can contribute to false findings leading to treatment errors.
