Colorectal Surgery (coloproctology) has for many years now, been a nationwide focal point for Krankenhaus Waldfriede. With the establishment in 2006 of the "Center for Colorectal and Pelvic Floor Surgery", we were able to consolidate our professional expertise and expand our services. Today, our center is one of the largest of its kind in Germany and trains physicians from all over Europe. We have at our disposal the most modern diagnostic techniques and carry out about 2200 coloproctological surgeries per year. These range from cancer therapy to the removal of hemorrhoids. 

Since disorders in the rectal area are often associated with incontinence or vaginal displacement, we, along with the urogynecologists in the hospital, offer a multidisciplinary diagnostic and therapeutic approach.
