Money has become scarce for many ideas and projects in Germany.

Unfortunately this also includes the health sector.
The result: hospitals can no longer guarantee additional social and charitable assistance. As a Christian hospital, established for more than 90 years in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf area, we want to counteract this development. In order to safeguard projects that are dear to our heart, we established the Friends Association Waldfriede (Förderverein).

• supports the development of Krankenhaus Waldfriede as an acute care community hospital in Steglitz-Zehlendorf
• provides financial support to ensure medical service diversity for needy people
• supports the "Desert Flower Center" Waldfriede and its holistic care services for victims of female genital mutilation (FGM)
• promotes innovative patient care by volunteers in Krankenhaus Waldfriede
• provides networking between ( former ) employees , trainees, students and friends of the hospital in the field of education, culture, religion and medicine
